Very well preserved fossil dragon fly, a Stenophlebia latreillei with great details. the Stenophlebia latreillei is the rarer species of dragon flies in the Solnhofen lagerstatte. The dragon fly has a 80 mm - 3.2" body and is displayed on its big natural matrix. Comes with a custom made stand.

The Araripe Basin of Brazil is home to a fantastic array of exquisitely-detailed Early Cretaceous fossils. Interestingly, to date no pterosaurs or terrestrial vertebrates have been found, in stark contrast to the overlying Santana Formation deposits. Fossils of this location are no longer available for collection. This one was found in an old collection and has a wingspan of 64 mm - 2.5", which is very big for the Crato formation. This impressive dragonfly is well-displayed on its large matrix, and is a fine example of this genus named after the Araripe Basin.

Most probably one of the best O. chiefensis ever found. Not the biggest example of this spectacular arthropod but the quality is phenomenal. Coming from an old collection, it was recently re-prepared showing its gracile beauty. The trilobite features the longer genal spines, demonstrating the variation within the same species and has a very detailed typical elongated cephalon .

To me this Fremontella is one of the most beautiful trilobites in the fossil record. With its 68 mm (2.7") it is one of the biggest trilobites found in the Pyramid shale. Coming from an old collection, it was recently re-prepared showing its gracile beauty on a beautiful big matrix (205 x 215 mm/8.1" x 8.5")

Very rare complete Leviceraurus mammilloides an Ordovician Cheirurus trilobite from the limestones of the Cobourg Formation, southern Ontario. This particular trilobite was found in 1985 and has been in our collection for many years. Sometimes even the better collection items are ready for a new home. Excellent example of a trilobite rarely found complete.

Very classic trilobite double from the Wheeler shale of really good quality.

An extremely rare Bolbolenellus euryparia. Bolbolenellus specimens are generally very poorly preserved and very rare. There are 2 Bolbolenellus specimens, the Bolbolenellus brevispina and the Bolbolenellus euryparia. The B. euryparia is by far the rarest with less than a hand full complete ones ever found. These trilobites may have had a less robust exoskeleton with poor preservation potential as in most cases only the (partial) cephalon is found.

We have seen a number of these crabs, but aesthetically this is by far the best. This fossil freshwater crab (Potamon sp.) is preserved in travertine from the Denizli Basin in Southwest Turkey. The crab exhibits amazingly detailed, 3d preservation. Beatifully preserved in its three-dimensional cast of a white travertine matrix.

Beautiful death plate from the Silurian Waldron Shale with several Calymene trilobites. The larger trilobite measures 31 mm or 1.2"

Rare Olenoides from the Harmless formation in Nevada. This very old Olenoides from which only a handful complete individuals have been found is still being described.

This is a very rare find from the Kansas Clay cretaceous layers. This Toxochelys brachyrhinus partial skeleton represents the skull, some leg bones and some body armour. Nice collection object on a custom made stand.

Recently described Ptychoparella buttsi trilobite on a large natural matrix. The slab holds 2 complete trilobites and several partials. Trilobites from the Cambrian layers of Alabama are extremely rare. All natural fossil, no restorations.

Rarely-Offered Calymene clavicula natural double. This Silurian Trilobite is coming from the Silurian Henryhouse Formation of Pontotoc County, Oklahoma. The trilobite is much older than the Devonian Oklahoma trilobites and is very hard to find in good condition. To find a double is exceptional. The bigger trilobite is huge and measures 64 mm or 2.5". The size of the second trilobite is 54 mm or 2.1". Comes with a custom made stand.

Very well preserved Precambrian arthropod from the famous white sea outcrops. The Kimberella is huge and nicely centred on natural matrix. One of the best we even saw.

Very nice little trilobite from the Hunan Tremadoc layers. The quality of preservation is excellent even while being small. This specimen is still being studied and has been assigned to the family of the Phacopida.

Nice Ordovician trilobite from Nevada known as Psudocybele nasuta. Nevada is far better known for its Cambrian trilobites, while the Ordovician are quite rare. Very good completely articulated 3-D example of this uncommon trilobite.

This Orygmaspis contracta was collected from Cranbrook, British Columbia, Canada. Top quality trilobite from the upper Cambrian Mc Kay group.

Perfectly preserved all natural Eurypterus remipes from the Fiddler Green Formation, N.Y. This by far the best Eurypterus we had in years and it is huge! 170 mm - 6.7" (straight line) This arthropod is rarely found this complete in an all natural split. Only a small section of a paddle is not showing as it is most probably still in the matrix. We preferred to leave it embedded in matrix so the fossil would be 100% natural as found.

Very well preserved fossil dragon fly, a Protolindenia wittei with great details. The dragon fly has a 100 mm - 4" wing span. The dragon fly has very nice color which is a rarity in the Solnhofen layers. Comes with a custom made stand.

Big Lochovella (Reedops) deckeri trilobite from the the famous Black Cat Mountain Quarry in Oklahoma. Nice preparation on this trilobite even to the finest details including the impressive eye facets.

Very nice Liexiaspis from the Tremadocian site of Hunan. The trilobite is completely articulated and in perfect condition.

Amazing Tremadocian double with a combination of a Liexiaspis and an Illaenus from the site of Hunan. Both are rare trilobites but the Illaenus is most rare of the 2 and is almost ver found complete. The illaenus measures 85 mm (3.4") while the Liexiaspis has a length of 63 mm (2.5").

Very well preserved huge fossil water bug, a Chrysomelophana rara with great details. The Chrysomelophana rara Stenophlebia latreillei is the rarely found in the Solnhofen lagerstatte. The water bug measures 42 mm - 1.7" and comes as a very esthetic positive and negative display on cost made stands.

This Helmetid arthropod from the 518 millions years old Chengjiang Lagerstätte also know as the Maotianshan Shales is known as Skioldia aldna. The species is known from only a few examples some of which are as much as 100 mm in length. With its 81 mm (3.2") this is one of the bigger specimens. It has fabulous preservation and is simply one of the best arthropods we ever collecte from these layers. These early Cambrian deposits are famous for their exceptional preservation of fossilized organisms as can be seen in this specimen.

Extremely big Tumidocarcinus giganteus in natural matrix. The crab is of excellent quality en very complete where most found species are missing claws or legs. Comes with a custom made stand.

The Pterocephalia is definitely the most gracile and collectible trilobite of the McKay series. It comes in bigger sizes than this specimen but what adds to the value is the clear regeneration of one of the general spines. This was probably a recovery after predation. Nice specimen with both positive and negative present

Very nice Stygian on natural matrix. The Stygina is one of the more rare trilobites found in the Ordovician outcrops around St Petersburg.

This is a very nice and most aesthetically exquisite rare Nevadia weeksi. Beautifully preserved and all natural on a big matrix with size 200 x 165 mm - 8" x 6.5"
