Very aesthetic slice of Colla wood on a custom made stand. Wood is most of the time fossilised by replacement with silica. This fossil wood slab found in Turkey is different. It gets incredible colours due to the infiltration by copper based minerals. Native copper, green malachite, blue azurite and a bit of turquoise have all these made it into an incredible mix of beautifully colours and patterns.
