Amecephalus piochensis - extremely rare

This is most probably the finest example of this rarely seen species ever found. From the Chisholm Shale of Nevada, this species is noted for its large cephalon and wrap-around genal spines. This Amecephalus piochensis measures 3.6cm (1.4"), and is complete with a small button-like pygidium. The wrinkly details on the cephalon are phenomenal.
