Tooth of a Toxodon

Description: Very rare tooth of a strange Pleistocene mammal, the Toxodon. This hoofed mammal looked like a rhinoceros but was not related to it. The Toxodon belonged to a separate group of animals, the Toxodontidae, and was one of the strangest animals ever discovered.
