Thursius double
€ 1.295
The Thursius macrolepidotus is an Osteolepiform fish thought to be the ancestors of the Tetrapoda. The paired lobed Osteolepis fins are homologous to the limbs of the first Tetrapods. They have thick rhombic scales covered with a cosmine layer (hence the shine). Here is a unique double showing the features of these evolutionary important fish both in lateral and in dorsal view.
