Extremely rare all-natural undescribed Neoceratosauria tooth from the Middle Jurassic layers of Madagascar. The smaller Neoceratosauria theropod teeth are currently being studied and belong to a complete new theropod species. This tooth definitely belongs an other complete different Neoceratosauria species. It is HUGE, 100 mm or 3.9" in comparison to the better know species this is 3X the size. The shape and serrations are very close to the Ceratosaurus. The tooth is in good condition. It was broken in 3 nicely matching parts when found and has been professionally restored to its original condition. At the same location a second tooth was found of similar size but unfortunately incomplete. An absolute killer piece.
