Phenomenal full slice of the famous Seymchan pallasite. The pallasite was first discovered in 1967 and was officially listed in the Meteoritical Bulletin in 1968. The Seymchan meteorite has dense zones of olivine chrystals alternated with pure Ni/Fe zones. The nicest slices are those that have a combination of both showing as well the very bright olivine as the very expressive Widmanstatten. The slice has a weight of 1506 gr and measures 39 x 27 cm - 15.4” x 10.6”.
