Diplodocus Tail Whip

This is a very rare find, the complete distal tail tip also known as whip of the famous Diplodocus. These vertebra is throughly special as the they are 100% complete with exception of a little crack fill. the Diplodocus used it tail as a whip to protect against predators such as the Allosaurus. The longest vertebra measures 145 mm or 5.7". The total length following the curve is 600 mm or just short of 24". It is a very rare thing to find such a vert section in this condition.
