Deinotherium lower jaw

€ 1.850
Deinotherium was a large elephant-like proboscidean that appeared in the Middle Miocene and survived until the Early Pleistocene. Here we have a superb series of rooted molars all belonging to the same lower jaw. All molars have the original roots. It is rare to find a Deinotherium molar with a nice tooth which makes it quite special to find a compete row of molars. The first molar with root measures over 15 cm or 6". Comes with a custom made stand.
