Beautiful well preserved skull with rostrum of a Saurichthys deperditus in original matrix. The Saurichthys is characterised by its elongated body and long slender but fragile body. Most Saurichthys are small but this specimen with its 31 cm - 12.2" skull must have been a fierce predator.
