Afrovenator foot claw

Very interesting foot claw of a Jurassic theropod of the family of the Megalosauridae, the Afrovenator. The first remains of Afrovenator were discovered in 1993 in the Ténére desert in Niger. This claw originates from the same location. Due to the highly erosive desert climate, bones from this site are rarely found in their original shape. This makes this claw a rarity. Very interesting collection item.
